these images were £5 to make.
all of that was the camera.

i found the folding kodak no.2 autographicbrownie at dalston waste market last weekend. it's a standard 6x9
folding camera which used a120 film, which differs from normal 120 only because of its autograph strip.

these cameras had an opening in the back and a metal pen for engraving your notes straight onto the film base.

this was a test film shot in the hackney marshes and evidences the many light leaks that have formed over
the years into the bellows. i will now try to fix these and shoot another roll. the lens is clean, though,
and the shutter is operating consistently.
